22 characters lead more than one series; Holly Donovan, Mila Nowak, Mona Newman lead five each. 19 regular series have no named lead on their official page.
How Candy reuses its characters
Unlike a TV show, a Candy Shorts character is closer to a stock actor than a fixed role. The same AI persona — same face, same name — turns up as a rival in one series and a love interest in the next, in stories that have nothing to do with each other. It is probably a production choice (a consistent face is easier to generate than a new one) and, for viewers, a handy way to find more of what they liked: if one series with a character worked for you, the others share its look and usually its tone.
The list below is built from the character attached to each official series page on October 2, 2026. Where a series page names no character, it is not listed here.

Real people: the digital twins
A handful of leads are not invented: they are the licensed AI twins of real adult performers, made with their permission. The series are generated like every other title — nobody filmed anything — but the likeness is authorised. We cover each one, and how to tell an official twin from an imitation, in Candy Shorts digital twins.
Frequently asked questions
Who is the main character in Candy Shorts?
There is no single lead. Candy AI casts recurring AI characters across different stories: Holly Donovan (five series), Mila Nowak (five series) and Mona Newman (five series) lead the most titles as of October 2, 2026.
Is Mona in more than one Candy Shorts series?
Yes. Mona Newman leads My Stepsister Thinks I’m Pathetic, My Roommates are Thirsty!, British Summer with my Stepbro, Mona's Obsession and Mona's Worst Enemy. The Spicy title Mona: My Wild Step-Sister uses the same name.
Are Candy Shorts characters real people?
No. They are AI-generated personas created by Candy AI. The exceptions are the digital twins — licensed AI likenesses of real performers such as Riley Reid and Bonnie Blue — and Candy's terms describe even those series as AI-generated.
Can I chat with Candy Shorts characters?
Candy AI is a companion-chat platform first, so check whether a lead also has a chat profile on candy.ai. Chat is capped on a free account and opens up with a membership.
Do the same characters appear in connected stories?
Mostly not. Each series has its own premise and setting even when the face and name repeat, so you can start any of them on its own. Check the premise on each series page if you want to be sure.
