Premise

Y.U.N.A is a sci-fi comedy built around Yuna Moon, a robot maid sent to keep a seemingly ideal household running smoothly. Her job, on paper, is purely domestic.

The home looks perfect from the outside, but the married couple who live there have let their relationship go flat. The premise plays on the comedy of a machine with a narrow purpose accidentally bringing a stalled marriage back to life. The couple, not the robot, are the ones in crisis, and Yuna's arrival becomes the unlikely fix. It is a lighter take on the household-helper setup that appears elsewhere in the catalogue, with the robot angle supplying the humor and the couple's rekindled connection supplying the story.

Setting: A married couple's seemingly perfect home, where a robot maid has just arrived.

Tone: light sci-fi marriage comedy.

Format and episodes

Five episodes make up Y.U.N.A. Like every Candy Shorts title it is cut into vertical episodes of under two minutes that end on a hook, which puts the whole series at under ten minutes.

As with every regular series, episodes 1 and 2 are open to everyone and episode 3 onward is Premium — three locked episodes here. The plot is continuous, so treat it like a mini-series rather than a set of clips.

Who is in it

The series is led by Yuna Moon, an AI-generated character created by Candy AI. Candy reuses its characters across stories, and Yuna Moon also leads two other series: The Maid My Wife Hired and Room Service. See every recurring face on the characters page.

What is free and what is paid

You can watch the first two episodes for free, which is enough to see whether the premise and the AI acting work for you. The remaining three unlock with Candy AI Premium ($3.99/month billed yearly, $8.99/month quarterly or $13.99 monthly), or one at a time inside candy.ai for 12 tokens an episode.

Candy's own terms add a caveat worth knowing: "A limited number of candyshorts episodes and tokens are included in a subscription, and further access to episodes is available for an amount of tokens disclosed in the product." The paywall itself promises "unlimited access to exclusive stories", so check the unlock screen if a series ever asks for tokens on top of your plan.

Prices are the US checkout on October 2, 2026; the full breakdown, including renewals and refunds, is in our price guide, and the free tier is mapped out in what you can watch free.

Content notes

Rating, in our terms: adult, not Spicy. The free episodes stop at suggestion; the paid ones are where most regular series show nudity and sex scenes, while the Spicy label is reserved for titles explicit from episode 1. The cast is AI-generated and every character is an adult.

Where to watch Y.U.N.A

Our take

Comic premises are in the minority in a catalogue that mostly plays its setups straight, and Y.U.N.A is also the clearest sci-fi entry outside the darker NightWire and the virtual-reality She's not real. The robot-maid twist gives a five-episode story a built-in source of humor, and on paper the focus on reviving a marriage rather than breaking one apart is a refreshing change of direction.

Yuna Moon also leads The Maid My Wife Hired, which uses a very similar household-maid setup with a human employee and a couple in a dry spell, and Room Service, about a married couple returning to the same hotel. Watched side by side, Y.U.N.A looks like the playful sci-fi variation on the character's recurring role: the outsider whose arrival changes a marriage's chemistry.

Who it is for: Viewers who want something lighter than the catalogue's infidelity and revenge stories, especially fans of Yuna Moon and of sci-fi comedy premises built on a playful what-if.

Is Y.U.N.A connected to The Maid My Wife Hired?
