Candy Shorts review (2026): is it worth paying for?

Our verdict: 7/10, best on the annual plan Try the two free episodes of any regular series before paying

An editorial review of Candy AI Shorts as a product: the format, the catalogue, the price per episode, and the fine print that decides whether the membership is good value.

Short answer 7/10

Yes, Candy Shorts is worth paying for if you are an adult who will actually binge it: on the annual plan, at $3.99 a month, it is cheap for a catalogue of 132 series. Month to month at $13.99 it is harder to justify, and the fine print on tokens, renewal and refunds deserves a careful read first. Our score: 7 out of 10.

This Candy Shorts review judges the product the way a paying customer meets it: the catalogue, the format, the price, the terms and the billing. It is built from the public catalogue on candyshorts.com and candy.ai, Candy AI's help center and terms, and the format of the free episodes, all checked on October 2, 2026. We have not watched paid episodes and do not hold an account, so we don't grade the acting or the adult content of the locked episodes. The two free episodes of any regular series let you judge the performances yourself in a few minutes, which is a better test than any review. This is an independent guide: links to Candy AI are tracked and may earn us a commission, which does not change the score.

What Candy Shorts is, and the format

Candy Shorts is the video side of Candy AI: AI-generated series with recurring characters, sold under the same membership as Candy AI Premium. The candyshorts.com terms call it a streaming platform for "short-form mini-drama series", and Candy's help center describes each episode as a pre-written scene "with a beginning, middle, and end" that lasts "under two minutes". Every face, voice and set is generated.

The structure is consistent. 112 of the 123 regular series run exactly five episodes, so most series are a ten-minute watch; a few run longer, up to 34 episodes for the longest. Episodes 1 and 2 are always free, so the free pair works as a pilot. It is adult entertainment for 18+ viewers: the free episodes are setup, most regular series include nudity and sex scenes in their paid episodes, and 9 Spicy titles are explicit from episode 1. The breakdown is in is Candy Shorts porn.

Catalogue size and growth

The catalogue is the strongest part of the product. It counted 24 series on September 10, 2026; on October 2, 2026 it had 132, with 123 regular series holding 707 episodes between them, plus 9 Spicy titles visible only to signed-in adults. New titles keep appearing at the top of the official grid.

Two caveats. First, the candy.ai homepage promises "New episodes coming out every week", while the help center says Candy "can't guarantee a release schedule", so treat new episodes as likely rather than promised. Second, the variety is narrower than the count suggests. Infidelity and step-family set-ups are among the most common premises, as the titles and theme tags (Stepmom, Stepsister, Wife, Milf, Taboo) make obvious; fantasy, thriller and comedy titles exist but are a minority. You can scan every premise in the full series list.

Recurring characters and digital twins

Candy AI reuses its characters across series, which gives the catalogue a sense of continuity: Holly Donovan, Mila Nowak and Mona Newman lead 5 series each, and Diana Demont and Veronica Parker lead 4. If you like a character, there is usually more of them; the characters page maps who appears where.

The other draw is the digital twins: AI likenesses of real adult performers, Riley Reid, Bonnie Blue, Sophie Dee and Mia Malkova among them, licensed to Candy AI. The help center says each twin is made "in direct partnership with and with the full consent of the creator", and Candy's terms describe Shorts content as AI-generated. Their series follow the same two-free-episodes rule but cost 30 tokens an episode on candy.ai instead of 12. Details on digital twins.

Languages, subtitles and dubbing

For an English-language product, the language support is better than expected. 121 of the 123 regular series carry subtitles in English, French, German, Spanish, Italian and Portuguese; 27 add Japanese; and 14 have dubbed audio in French, German, Spanish, Italian and Portuguese. The candyshorts.com interface comes in the same six languages. Candy AI's help articles disagree about which languages the wider platform officially supports, but the Shorts player's subtitle menu is the same on both sites.

Price and value: what an episode really costs

PlanPer monthBilled
Annual$3.99$47.88 a year
Quarterly$8.99$26.97 every three months
Monthly$13.99$13.99 a month

These are the prices at the US checkout on October 2, 2026; the currency is localised and local taxes may apply. The arithmetic is kind to the annual plan. The regular catalogue has 461 paid episodes, everything from episode 3 on. If a membership opened all of them, a year at $47.88 would work out at about $0.10 an episode, and even a single month at $13.99 would come to about $0.03 an episode, since 461 episodes of under two minutes add up to at most about 15 hours of viewing. A full year also costs less than four months on the monthly plan ($55.96).

On candy.ai the per-episode alternative is tokens: 12 per paid episode and 30 on creator series, so finishing a typical five-episode series takes 36 tokens, or 90 for a creator series. Premium includes 100 tokens a month, enough for about 8 regular episodes. Token pack prices sit behind the login and we could not verify them; Candy's referral program values 200 tokens at $20, but that is a referral perk, not a price list. Either way, the membership is far cheaper per episode for anyone who watches more than a series or two, as long as it covers the episodes you want (see the fine print). Full detail in the Candy Shorts price guide.

The fine print on tokens and "unlimited"

This is where the product loses points. The candyshorts.com paywall promises "Unlimited access to exclusive stories". The candyshorts.com terms, revised September 30, 2026, say something narrower: "A limited number of candyshorts episodes and tokens are included in a subscription, and further access to episodes is available for an amount of tokens disclosed in the product." And Candy AI's own list of Premium benefits does not mention Shorts at all. Candy does not explain how those fit together, so check the unlock screen before assuming a series is covered.

Tokens carry a second contradiction. The candy.ai terms (§10.2) say remaining tokens "expire and become unusable" when a subscription ends, while a help article says "Canceling your subscription does NOT delete your tokens". The candyshorts.com terms add that leftover tokens cannot be carried over to a new subscription. If you hold tokens, spend them before you cancel.

Billing, renewal and the warning signs

Billing is discreet: charges show as EverAI, and the company behind it is EverAI Limited, registered in Malta (C107181). Depending on the country you can pay by card, Apple Pay, Google Pay, crypto or bank transfer.

Every plan renews automatically "for the same price and term", and the terms allow price increases if they are announced before renewal. Refunds are narrow: on candyshorts.com only within 24 hours of payment and only if you have not streamed anything; on candy.ai within 24 hours and only if you have used 20 tokens or fewer; card payments only in both cases. EU and UK buyers have a 14-day withdrawal right on the first purchase, reduced for what they used. If you check out as a guest on candyshorts.com, you must claim your Candy AI account within about seven days or the subscription is cancelled.

Two signals are worth weighing. Candy AI's Trustpilot profile is not visible today, replaced by a notice that the business "goes against our guidelines", so there is no public score to check, and we don't quote older figures we could not read. And Candy's own help center carries articles titled "I've deleted my account. Why do you keep on charging me?" and "I already canceled my subscription, where is my refund?". Both give clear answers — deleting an account before renewal cancels the subscription, and cancelling does not automatically trigger a refund — but help articles get written for questions people keep asking. The steps are in how to cancel Candy AI, and the wider picture in is Candy Shorts safe.

Pros and cons

Pros

  • 246 free episodes, playable without an account on candyshorts.com
  • Cheap on the annual plan: $3.99 a month, about $0.10 per paid episode if the plan covers the catalogue
  • A large, fast-growing catalogue: 132 series on October 2, 2026
  • Episodes under two minutes that fit a few spare minutes
  • Subtitles in six languages on most series; 14 dubbed
  • Licensed digital twins of real performers, with consent stated
  • Discreet billing as EverAI, and nothing to install

Cons

  • The terms say a subscription includes "a limited number" of episodes, against the paywall's "unlimited" pitch
  • Token rules contradict each other between the terms and the help center
  • Auto-renewal on every plan; refunds only within 24 hours, with conditions
  • A narrow range of premises, heavy on infidelity and step-family set-ups
  • No content rating per series from Candy AI
  • No guaranteed release schedule
  • Trustpilot profile hidden; help articles about charges after cancelling or deleting
  • Browser only: no native iPhone or Android app

Who it suits, and who should skip it

Candy Shorts suits adults who like short serialised drama with adult content, want it cheaply and will commit to a year: at $47.88, the catalogue is good value if you watch more than a few series. It also suits people who already pay for Candy AI Premium for the chat, since the membership is the same one.

Skip it if you want one series and nothing else, since the two free episodes plus a few tokens on candy.ai may be enough. Skip it too if you need something you can watch around other people, if you dislike auto-renewing subscriptions with tight refund windows, or if infidelity and step-family premises are not for you, because they fill a large share of the catalogue. And if you were hoping to unlock it for free, there is nothing legitimate to unlock: the free episodes are the free part.

Verdict: 7 out of 10

7/ 10

Candy Shorts does what it promises on the surface: a large, fast-growing catalogue of short AI dramas, a genuinely free first taste and a low annual price. It earns 7 rather than 8 or 9 because the terms around what a membership includes, how tokens behave and how refunds work are less clear than the paywall, and that is the part that costs money. It would score higher if Candy reconciled its "unlimited" promise with its own terms and published a content rating per series.

Our advice: watch episodes 1 and 2 of a series or two, decide whether the format works for you, and if it does, take the annual plan and set a calendar reminder before it renews.

Frequently asked questions

Is Candy Shorts worth it?

For adults who will binge it, yes, on the annual plan: $3.99 a month (billed $47.88) for a catalogue of 132 series. Month to month at $13.99 it makes sense only for a short binge. Watch the free episodes first and decide from those.

How much does a Candy Shorts episode cost?

If a membership opens the whole regular catalogue, as the paywall suggests, a year works out at about $0.10 per paid episode; Candy's own terms say a subscription includes "a limited number" of episodes, though. On candy.ai single episodes cost 12 tokens, or 30 on creator series. See the price guide.

Is Candy Shorts legit?

Yes. It is run by EverAI Limited, a company registered in Malta that also operates candy.ai, and charges appear as EverAI. Watch the auto-renewal and the 24-hour refund window. See is Candy Shorts safe.

Did you watch the paid episodes for this review?

No. This review is based on the public catalogue, Candy AI's official pages, help center and terms, and the format of the free episodes, checked on October 2, 2026. We do not grade the acting or the adult content of locked episodes we have not seen.

Why is Candy AI not on Trustpilot?

On October 2, 2026 Trustpilot showed a notice that the business "goes against our guidelines and is no longer visible on Trustpilot". Trustpilot does not say why, so there is no current public score to check. A separate profile for candy-ai.eu is not Candy AI's.

Do I need Candy AI Premium for Candy Shorts?

Not for episodes 1 and 2 of regular series, which are free. For episode 3 onward and for every Spicy title, yes, or tokens per episode on candy.ai. The membership is Candy AI Premium, with the same plans and prices on candyshorts.com and candy.ai, and its terms say a subscription includes a limited number of episodes.

Can I cancel Candy Shorts at any time?

Yes: My Profile, then Settings, then Unsubscribe on candy.ai. Access continues to the end of the paid period, and cancelling does not trigger a refund. Step by step in how to cancel Candy AI.
