Candy AI Shorts price in 2026: plans, tokens and the real cost

That is Candy AI pricing for 2026 as a US visitor sees it, on the candyshorts.com paywall and on candy.ai/subscriptions, both read on October 2, 2026. We have not bought a plan: every figure below comes from Candy AI's official pages, and the per-episode numbers are our own arithmetic, labelled as such.

Candy AI pricing 2026: the three plans

The discounts are measured against a crossed-out list price of $13.99 a month, which is simply the monthly plan. Every plan renews automatically. The candyshorts.com modal reads "Automatically renews at $47.88 every year. Cancel renewal anytime. Local taxes may apply" (with the matching figure on the other plans), and candy.ai/subscriptions adds that each plan "Renews automatically for the same price and term." The countdown clock on the offer is a sales device: in the page markup it sits at 00:00:00, and the prices behind it are the same ones listed on candy.ai/subscriptions.

Two smaller details. The page source also contains billing lines for a two-week plan ($9.79) and a weekly plan ($5.60), but neither was offered to us as a guest. And a higher tier, Premium Plus, comes with 330 tokens a month according to the help center; its price is not shown to logged-out visitors.

What Premium includes, and where Shorts fit

The Shorts membership is Candy AI Premium. The candyshorts.com paywall uses the same plan IDs as candy.ai's own plans page (premium-yearly, premium-quarterly, premium-monthly) and charges the same three prices, and the Shorts paywall inside candy.ai sends you to the regular subscriptions page with an "Upgrade to Premium" button. One account, one plan, both sites. The two pages just sell it differently:

Shorts are not mentioned in the candy.ai benefits list at all, and the candyshorts.com list does not mention chat. If you only want the series, you are still buying the full chat-and-generation membership; if you came for chat, Shorts come with it. Candy AI tokens: 100 a month, and what an episode costs

Tokens are Candy AI's internal credits. Premium credits 100 tokens a month on your subscription date, and annual subscribers get them monthly too, even though they pay once a year. Regular chat costs no tokens; image and video generation, voice messages, calls (3 tokens a minute, a beta price) and private content packs do.

Shorts use tokens as well, but only inside candy.ai. There, episodes 1 and 2 of a regular series cost 0 tokens, and episode 3 onward is marked Premium with a token price: 12 tokens an episode on most series, 30 on the creator series led by digital twins of real performers. The unlock screen says "Yours forever", meaning the episode stays on your account. On candyshorts.com, episode 3 onward opens the membership screen instead. We could not see token prices for the Spicy series, which are hidden from guests.

Here is what those token prices mean for a few real series:

The 100 monthly tokens unlock eight episodes at 12 tokens or three at 30: two five-episode series with two episodes to spare, or one creator series. Unlocking the whole regular catalogue episode by episode would take 5,910 tokens, or 60 months of the allowance, about five years. What tokens cost in dollars we can't tell you: candy.ai/tokens redirects logged-out visitors to the sign-in page, so pack sizes and prices are not public. The only official hint is the referral program, which calls 200 tokens "a $20 value", about 10 cents a token. Treat that as a ballpark, not a price list.

The fine print: "unlimited access" or "a limited number of episodes"?

Both statements come from the same company, on the same site: the paywall lists unlimited access as the first reason to join, while the candyshorts.com terms (revised September 30, 2026, section 2.1) describe a limited number. Candy AI does not publish what the limit is, and because we have not paid, we cannot tell you where a member would hit it, or whether that happens in practice.

Our reading of the official material, stated plainly: the membership is the main way to watch past episode 2, tokens are the per-episode alternative inside candy.ai, and the terms leave room for some episodes to cost tokens on top of a plan. That is why this site never calls Premium unlimited, and why the 100 included tokens are worth keeping rather than spending on the first image you generate.

How much is Candy AI Shorts per episode? Our arithmetic

Candy AI doesn't price Shorts per episode on the membership, so we did the division. On October 2, 2026 the regular catalogue had 707 episodes, of which 246 are free and 461 are paid. Divide each plan's bill by those numbers and you get the cost per episode if you watched everything in one billing period:

These are our numbers, not Candy AI's prices, and they are best cases: they assume the membership covers every paid episode, which the terms don't promise, and that you actually watch them all. That is less far-fetched than it sounds on the monthly plan. At under two minutes an episode, all 461 paid episodes come to less than 16 hours.

The more useful comparison is plan against plan. Over twelve months the annual plan costs $47.88, the quarterly $107.88 and the monthly $167.88. The annual bill is less than four months of the monthly plan ($55.96), so if you expect to keep watching past month three, the annual plan is already the cheaper one, as long as you remember it renews at $47.88 a year later. Against tokens, the plan wins for anyone who watches more than a series or two: the 100 included tokens open eight episodes, while the membership is sold as the way into the paid catalogue as a whole.

Renewals, cancellation and refunds

• Renewal. Every plan renews automatically for the same price and term. Candy AI's terms allow price increases, communicated before a renewal, and let EverAI charge a backup payment method if a renewal payment fails.
• Cancelling. On candy.ai: My Profile, then Settings, then Unsubscribe at the bottom. There is no pause. Premium stays active until the end of the period you paid for, and cancelling does not trigger a refund. Step by step in how to cancel Candy AI.
• Refunds on candy.ai. Request within 24 hours of payment, and only if you have used 20 tokens or fewer. Card payments only.
• Refunds on candyshorts.com. Purchases are generally non-refundable; a discretionary refund is possible within 24 hours if you have not streamed or accessed anything. Card payments only.
• EU and UK. You can withdraw within 14 days of the initial purchase, with the refund reduced in proportion to what you used. Renewals are not covered.
• Chargebacks. Filing one cancels the subscription immediately.
• Tokens after cancelling. The official sources disagree. Candy AI's terms (section 10.2) say remaining tokens expire when the subscription ends; a help-center article updated in August 2026 says cancelling does not delete them. The candyshorts.com terms add that tokens from a cancelled subscription can't be carried over to a new one. Spend them before you cancel.

Paid on candyshorts.com as a guest? Claim the account

The candyshorts.com paywall lets you buy a membership without signing in first, but the purchase is tied to a Candy AI account you have to claim afterwards. The paywall says "After purchase, you'll need to confirm your account to maintain access", and the terms give the window: generally 7 calendar days. If you don't claim the account in time, the candyshorts.com subscription is cancelled and won't renew, so do it right after paying.

Candy AI prices outside the US

The prices above are what a US visitor saw on October 2, 2026. Candy AI localises the currency, and "local taxes may apply" on top. In euros, the plans were shown in September 2026 at €3.99 a month on the annual plan and €8.99 on the quarterly plan, while the monthly plan was €9.99 for the first month and €13.99 after that. Your figures may differ; the amount on the checkout screen is the one that counts, not a guide's table.

Payment methods also vary by country. Candy AI's help center lists credit and debit cards, crypto, Apple Pay, Google Pay and bank transfer through Volt or Pix; the plans page itself shows Apple Pay, Visa and Mastercard. Only card payments qualify for the 24-hour refunds.

Which plan to pick

Start with the free episodes: two of every regular series, with no card and no account needed on candyshorts.com (what is free, in detail). If nothing hooks you, you have spent nothing. If something does:

• Annual, $3.99 a month ($47.88). The best value if you will watch for more than three months or also want Candy AI chat. Put the renewal date in your calendar.
• Quarterly, $8.99 a month ($26.97). A middle ground for a season of watching without a year's commitment.
• Monthly, $13.99. Sensible for a one-month binge of a long series, if the plan covers it (check the unlock screen), such as the 34 episodes of My bestie betrayed me, cancelled before it renews.
• Tokens on candy.ai. Useful for an odd episode with the 100 tokens Premium includes. With no public pack prices, buying extra tokens for a whole series can't be compared against a plan in advance.

Whichever you choose, the refund window is 24 hours and, on candyshorts.com, it closes once you stream something, so decide with the free episodes rather than after paying.
