Premise
Ava's movie night with her friends comes with one firm rule: her boyfriend is not invited. Then Ava dozes off partway through, leaving Camilla, her best friend and also his stepsister, to decide whether the ban still stands, and Camilla opens the door to him again.
The premise stacks two relationships onto one person. Camilla is close to Ava and related to the boyfriend through a blended family, which makes this a cheating story with a step-family layer, all among adults. With the girlfriend asleep nearby, the risk of discovery never goes away.

Like the rest of the regular catalogue, Boys Not Allowed is made for adults. Episodes 1 and 2 are setup — flirting, tension, the premise — while the locked episodes are where the adult content sits in most series. It keeps to the usual five episodes and is one of three series led by Camilla Azarian, next to My Step-Sister's Bachelorette Party and The Gods Gave Me My Father's Wife. Viewers who want more best-friend betrayal can look at My bestie betrayed me or My Wife's Best Friend, whose titles signal similar loyalty conflicts. If a love triangle with a ticking clock is your preferred format, this premise is about as direct as they come.
