Premise
Kent, a family with generations of money behind it and a long English summer provide the backdrop for this Mona Newman series. Mona and her adult stepbrother are spending the season as guests of a well-established British household where appearances matter.
What threatens that composure is Mona's attraction to her stepbrother, which comes and goes but never fully fades. The premise is a step-family romance played against a very proper setting, and much of its promise lies in the contrast between a family that values decorum and a guest who cannot keep her feelings tidy. Expect the tension of a houseguest testing the limits of polite hospitality rather than a single dramatic event.
Setting: An old-money family's home in Kent, England, over one summer.
Tone: genteel old-money summer crush.
Format and episodes
Five episodes make up British Summer with my Stepbro. Like every Candy Shorts title it is cut into vertical episodes of under two minutes that end on a hook, which puts the whole series at under ten minutes.
As with every regular series, episodes 1 and 2 are open to everyone and episode 3 onward is Premium — three locked episodes here. The plot is continuous, so treat it like a mini-series rather than a set of clips.

Who is in it
The series is led by Mona Newman, an AI-generated character created by Candy AI. Candy reuses its characters across stories, and Mona Newman also leads four other series: My Stepsister Thinks I’m Pathetic, My Roommates are Thirsty!, Mona's Obsession and Mona's Worst Enemy. See every recurring face on the characters page.
What is free and what is paid
You can watch the first two episodes for free, which is enough to see whether the premise and the AI acting work for you. The remaining three unlock with Candy AI Premium ($3.99/month billed yearly, $8.99/month quarterly or $13.99 monthly), or one at a time inside candy.ai for 12 tokens an episode.
Candy's own terms add a caveat worth knowing: "A limited number of candyshorts episodes and tokens are included in a subscription, and further access to episodes is available for an amount of tokens disclosed in the product." The paywall itself promises "unlimited access to exclusive stories", so check the unlock screen if a series ever asks for tokens on top of your plan.
Prices are the US checkout on October 2, 2026; the full breakdown, including renewals and refunds, is in our price guide, and the free tier is mapped out in what you can watch free.
Content notes
Like the rest of the regular catalogue, British Summer with my Stepbro is made for adults. Episodes 1 and 2 are setup — flirting, tension, the premise — while the locked episodes are where the adult content sits in most series. It does not carry the Spicy flag, which Candy AI keeps for the titles that are explicit from the first minute. No real people appear: the cast is entirely AI-generated.

Where to watch British Summer with my Stepbro
Full episodes stream only on candyshorts.com and in the Candy Shorts tab of candy.ai. Uploads elsewhere that claim to be full episodes are something else — our Dailymotion check found none, and "leak" pages are bait: what those links really are.
Our take
The British setting is the main thing that separates this from the catalogue's many step-family titles. An old-money household gives the premise a built-in audience for every slip, and a crush that comes and goes suggests a slower, push-and-pull rhythm. On paper it is closer to a summer-abroad romance than a scandal, and it suits viewers who prefer atmosphere to shock.
Mona Newman is one of the catalogue's most frequent leads, with Mona's Obsession, Mona's Worst Enemy and My Stepsister Thinks I’m Pathetic also on the list, and this title takes her abroad. Anyone who wants another summer-holiday story can try Stepmom Summer Fling, though that one swaps the stepbrother for a girlfriend's stepmom and the English household for the beach.
Who it is for: Viewers who like step-family romance with a strong sense of place, slower push-and-pull tension and a summer-abroad backdrop, plus Mona Newman regulars who want to see the character in a different setting.
