Premise
Piper Hollis checks into a luxury villa expecting a honeymoon, and finds herself spending most of it alone. Her new husband cannot tear himself away from his job, and the one person giving her real attention is the porter who handles her luggage.
From there the premise turns on Piper's own decision. Bored and overlooked, she stops waiting for her husband to put work aside and resolves to act on her frustration herself. It is an infidelity setup with a sharp irony at its core: the marriage is only days old, yet a member of the villa's staff already seems closer to her than the man she has just married. The trip that was meant to start a life together becomes the backdrop for a very different kind of choice.
