Premise
Crossover energy drives this one, pairing two of the catalogue's recurring characters under a single roof. Mona and DarkAngel, a goth streamer, share a home, and when a new roommate moves in, both of them set their sights on him.
No slow build is promised here. The setup is an adult roommate chase in which two very different personalities pursue the same newcomer at once, and the everyday logistics of a shared home become the arena for that pursuit. On paper the comedy comes from the newcomer being outnumbered from the moment he arrives, with Mona Newman as the listed lead.
Setting: A shared house where Mona, DarkAngel and a newly arrived roommate live together.
Tone: fast two-on-one roommate chase.
Format and episodes
Five episodes make up My Roommates are Thirsty!. Like every Candy Shorts title it is cut into vertical episodes of under two minutes that end on a hook, which puts the whole series at under ten minutes.
As with every regular series, episodes 1 and 2 are open to everyone and episode 3 onward is Premium — three locked episodes here. The plot is continuous, so treat it like a mini-series rather than a set of clips.

The audio is English only; subtitles are available in English, French, German, Spanish, Italian and Portuguese.
Who is in it
The series is led by Mona Newman, an AI-generated character created by Candy AI. Candy reuses its characters across stories, and Mona Newman also leads four other series: My Stepsister Thinks I’m Pathetic, British Summer with my Stepbro, Mona's Obsession and Mona's Worst Enemy. See every recurring face on the characters page.
What is free and what is paid
You can watch the first two episodes for free, which is enough to see whether the premise and the AI acting work for you. The remaining three unlock with Candy AI Premium ($3.99/month billed yearly, $8.99/month quarterly or $13.99 monthly), or one at a time inside candy.ai for 12 tokens an episode.
Candy's own terms add a caveat worth knowing: "A limited number of candyshorts episodes and tokens are included in a subscription, and further access to episodes is available for an amount of tokens disclosed in the product." The paywall itself promises "unlimited access to exclusive stories", so check the unlock screen if a series ever asks for tokens on top of your plan.
Prices are the US checkout on October 2, 2026; the full breakdown, including renewals and refunds, is in our price guide, and the free tier is mapped out in what you can watch free.
Content notes
Rating, in our terms: adult, not Spicy. The free episodes stop at suggestion; the paid ones are where most regular series show nudity and sex scenes, while the Spicy label is reserved for titles explicit from episode 1. The cast is AI-generated and every character is an adult.

Where to watch My Roommates are Thirsty!
Full episodes stream only on candyshorts.com and in the Candy Shorts tab of candy.ai. Uploads elsewhere that claim to be full episodes are something else — our Dailymotion check found none, and "leak" pages are bait: what those links really are.
Our take
The selling point is the pairing. Mona Newman already carries a run of titles, including My Stepsister Thinks I’m Pathetic, Mona's Obsession and British Summer with my Stepbro, while DarkAngel, credited as darkangel666, leads The Nuns Took Me In and Your New Stepsister. Putting both characters in one house with the same target is a crossover built for regulars, and it gives the premise two contrasting energies instead of one.
As a story it is deliberately simple: one new arrival, two pursuers and no time wasted. That suits a five-episode format, and the roommate frame keeps it lighter than the family-secret titles. For more house-share stories, the catalogue also has One Bed With My Roommate and My Roommates Made a Bet.
Who it is for: Regulars who already follow Mona Newman or DarkAngel and want them in the same story, plus viewers who prefer a light, fast roommate premise to the heavier family-secret titles.
