Premise
History becomes melodrama in this five-episode retelling of the affair between Queen Cleopatra and Julius Caesar. Their relationship results in a pregnancy, and with it a private scandal becomes a question of state for both Rome and Egypt.
Caesar's wife is no bystander: she enlists Mark Antony in a plan for revenge, leaving Caesar torn between loyalty to Rome and the queen he has come to love. The series is labeled historical fantasy, so expect famous names, a seduction plot and courtly power struggles rather than a history lesson or a faithful account of the era.
Setting: Ancient Rome and Egypt, in a dramatized, historical-fantasy version of Caesar's era.
Tone: historical melodrama with court intrigue.
Format and episodes
Cleopatra and Caesar runs five episodes, the standard length for the catalogue. Episodes are short vertical clips — Candy AI's own help pages put them at under two minutes each — so the whole series takes under ten minutes back to back.
The first two episodes are free to watch, and the padlock starts at episode 3: three episodes sit behind the paywall. Each episode picks up exactly where the previous one stopped, so skipping ahead does not work well.

What is free and what is paid
Free: episodes 1 and 2. Paid: everything after that, three episodes here. The main way in is Candy AI Premium ($3.99 a month if you pay $47.88 for a year, $8.99 quarterly, $13.99 monthly); candy.ai also sells single episodes for 12 tokens each.
Candy's own terms add a caveat worth knowing: "A limited number of candyshorts episodes and tokens are included in a subscription, and further access to episodes is available for an amount of tokens disclosed in the product." The paywall itself promises "unlimited access to exclusive stories", so check the unlock screen if a series ever asks for tokens on top of your plan.
Prices are the US checkout on October 2, 2026; the full breakdown, including renewals and refunds, is in our price guide, and the free tier is mapped out in what you can watch free.
Content notes
Like the rest of the regular catalogue, Cleopatra and Caesar is made for adults. Episodes 1 and 2 are setup — flirting, tension, the premise — while the locked episodes are where the adult content sits in most series. It does not carry the Spicy flag, which Candy AI keeps for the titles that are explicit from the first minute. No real people appear: the cast is entirely AI-generated.

Where to watch Cleopatra and Caesar
Full episodes stream only on candyshorts.com and in the Candy Shorts tab of candy.ai. Uploads elsewhere that claim to be full episodes are something else — our Dailymotion check found none, and "leak" pages are bait: what those links really are.
Our take
Most of the catalogue's fantasy titles invent their royals, from Claimed by the Dragon Queen to The Gods Gave Me My Father's Wife. Cleopatra and Caesar is the rare one that borrows real historical figures, and on paper that is a built-in hook: viewers already know the names and the stakes, so five short episodes can skip most of the world-building.
The premise layers an affair, a pregnancy and a revenge plot led by Caesar's wife and Mark Antony, which is a lot to fit into a standard five-episode run and points to a single-sitting binge. Purists should take the historical-fantasy label seriously. This is costume drama built around a love triangle, not a documentary, and it sits closer to the royal scheming of My Father's New Queen than to anything academic.
Who it is for: Viewers who enjoy costume drama and court intrigue, and anyone curious to see famous historical figures recast in an adult love-triangle story that fits into one short binge.
Frequently asked questions
How many episodes does Cleopatra and Caesar have?
Five episodes as of October 2, 2026, each under two minutes long. Episode counts can change as Candy AI adds episodes, so check the date above.
Can I watch Cleopatra and Caesar for free?
Partly. Episodes 1 and 2 are free; the other three sit behind the paywall: Candy AI Premium, from $3.99 a month on the annual plan, is the main way in (its terms say a subscription includes a limited number of episodes), or 12 tokens each inside candy.ai.
Where can I watch Cleopatra and Caesar?
Only on Candy AI: on candyshorts.com or in the Candy Shorts tab of candy.ai, in any browser. Uploads elsewhere are trailers or unauthorised copies.
Does Cleopatra and Caesar have subtitles?
The audio is English only; subtitles are available in English, French, German, Spanish, Italian and Portuguese.
Is Cleopatra and Caesar historically accurate?
It is presented as historical fantasy, so treat it as a dramatized take rather than history. It uses real figures, including Cleopatra, Julius Caesar and Mark Antony, but builds the story around an affair, a pregnancy and a revenge plot.
Is Mark Antony in Cleopatra and Caesar?
Yes. According to the premise, Caesar's wife seeks out Mark Antony as an ally in her revenge. That widens the story beyond the central couple.
Are there other historical or fantasy series like Cleopatra and Caesar?
The catalogue has several royal and myth-based stories, including The Gods Gave Me My Father's Wife, My Father's New Queen and Trespasser of the Sunken Court. Cleopatra and Caesar is the one built around real historical names.
