Premise

Queen Veyra rules as the Dragon Queen, and Ethan enters her court as a prisoner she has chosen to keep for herself. Nothing about the arrangement favors him: she holds the throne and every decision, while he arrives with no allies and no leverage.

What the premise promises is a reversal. The captive she expected to bend begins shifting the balance of power instead, and his influence reaches beyond the throne room into the politics of her dynasty and lineage. It is an adult fantasy built on a captor-and-captive power play, where the real contest is over who ends up setting the terms between them.

Setting: The royal court of a dragon queen in a fantasy realm, where Ethan is held captive.

Tone: dark fantasy captive power struggle.

Format and episodes

Claimed by the Dragon Queen runs five episodes, the standard length for the catalogue. Episodes are short vertical clips — Candy AI's own help pages put them at under two minutes each — so the whole series takes under ten minutes back to back.

As with every regular series, episodes 1 and 2 are open to everyone and episode 3 onward is Premium — three locked episodes here. The plot is continuous, so treat it like a mini-series rather than a set of clips.

What is free and what is paid

Episodes 1 and 2 cost nothing and play straight from the series page on candyshorts.com. For the other three there are two routes: Candy AI Premium — $3.99 a month on the annual plan ($47.88 billed once), $8.99 a month quarterly or $13.99 month to month — or, inside candy.ai, buying single episodes with tokens, 12 tokens each for this series.

Candy's own terms add a caveat worth knowing: "A limited number of candyshorts episodes and tokens are included in a subscription, and further access to episodes is available for an amount of tokens disclosed in the product." The paywall itself promises "unlimited access to exclusive stories", so check the unlock screen if a series ever asks for tokens on top of your plan.

Prices are the US checkout on October 2, 2026; the full breakdown, including renewals and refunds, is in our price guide, and the free tier is mapped out in what you can watch free.

Content notes

Like the rest of the regular catalogue, Claimed by the Dragon Queen is made for adults. Episodes 1 and 2 are setup — flirting, tension, the premise — while the locked episodes are where the adult content sits in most series. It does not carry the Spicy flag, which Candy AI keeps for the titles that are explicit from the first minute. No real people appear: the cast is entirely AI-generated.

Where to watch Claimed by the Dragon Queen

Full episodes stream only on candyshorts.com and in the Candy Shorts tab of candy.ai. Uploads elsewhere that claim to be full episodes are something else — our Dailymotion check found none, and "leak" pages are bait: what those links really are.

Our take

On paper, this is one of the cleaner fantasy hooks in the catalogue: a ruler, a prisoner and a contest over who really holds power. Most Candy Shorts stories unfold in suburban homes and office towers, so a dragon court gives it a different texture, and the reversal at its core suggests a story more interested in leverage than in spectacle.

At the standard five episodes it is a one-evening watch, which suits a setup this focused. Viewers who enjoy it have clear next stops: Dragon Queen's Dark Desire works the same royal-dragon territory, and Sworn to the Queen, going by its title, also revolves around a monarch. If captor-and-captive stories already feel familiar to you, the premise does not promise much beyond that central dynamic, but as a mythic break from the domestic drama elsewhere on the list, it has an obvious draw.

Who it is for: Fantasy fans who prefer royal intrigue and a shifting balance of power between captor and captive over modern-day settings, and anyone curious about the more mythic corner of the catalogue.
