Premise
Kyle's father has remarried, and his new wife, Skye, is 22. Not long after the wedding the father heads off for the whole summer, which puts Kyle, her adult stepson, in the family house with a new stepmother and nobody else around to set the terms.
Skye sets them herself. She lays down a strict code for how the two of them will share the house, and for a while the boundaries hold. What changes the arrangement is a guest: once Skye's best friend arrives at her invitation, the premise signals that her own rules stop being the point, and the story shifts from a two-person standoff into something far less predictable.
Setting: A family home over one summer, after Kyle's father leaves town.
Tone: rule-driven summer stepmom tension.
Format and episodes
Five episodes make up My Stepmom Is 22. Like every Candy Shorts title it is cut into vertical episodes of under two minutes that end on a hook, which puts the whole series at under ten minutes.
The first two episodes are free to watch, and the padlock starts at episode 3: three episodes sit behind the paywall. Each episode picks up exactly where the previous one stopped, so skipping ahead does not work well.

What is free and what is paid
Episodes 1 and 2 cost nothing and play straight from the series page on candyshorts.com. For the other three there are two routes: Candy AI Premium — $3.99 a month on the annual plan ($47.88 billed once), $8.99 a month quarterly or $13.99 month to month — or, inside candy.ai, buying single episodes with tokens, 12 tokens each for this series.
Candy's own terms add a caveat worth knowing: "A limited number of candyshorts episodes and tokens are included in a subscription, and further access to episodes is available for an amount of tokens disclosed in the product." The paywall itself promises "unlimited access to exclusive stories", so check the unlock screen if a series ever asks for tokens on top of your plan.
Prices are the US checkout on October 2, 2026; the full breakdown, including renewals and refunds, is in our price guide, and the free tier is mapped out in what you can watch free.
Content notes
Rating, in our terms: adult, not Spicy. The free episodes stop at suggestion; the paid ones are where most regular series show nudity and sex scenes, while the Spicy label is reserved for titles explicit from episode 1. The cast is AI-generated and every character is an adult.

Where to watch My Stepmom Is 22
Full episodes stream only on candyshorts.com and in the Candy Shorts tab of candy.ai. Uploads elsewhere that claim to be full episodes are something else — our Dailymotion check found none, and "leak" pages are bait: what those links really are.
Our take
On paper this belongs to a familiar catalogue pattern: a father marries a much younger woman and then disappears from the story. Whatever Your Stepmom Says runs a similar setup through a work trip and an instruction taken literally, and My Father's New Queen moves it to a royal court. My Stepmom Is 22 chooses house rules as its hook, which gives it a clear power-play spine, since Skye is the one deciding what is allowed.
The best friend's arrival is where the premise promises its turn, so expect the second half to widen beyond the stepmom pairing. At the standard five episodes it should work as a single-sitting binge. If the rule-setting angle of My Best Friend's Mom Has One Rule appealed to you, this one plays in a similar key.
Who it is for: Viewers who like stepmom stories with a clear set of rules at the center, and who want a short series in which a single new arrival is set up to change the whole dynamic.
Frequently asked questions
How many episodes does My Stepmom Is 22 have?
Five episodes as of October 2, 2026, each under two minutes long. Episode counts can change as Candy AI adds episodes, so check the date above.
Can I watch My Stepmom Is 22 for free?
Partly. Episodes 1 and 2 are free; the other three sit behind the paywall: Candy AI Premium, from $3.99 a month on the annual plan, is the main way in (its terms say a subscription includes a limited number of episodes), or 12 tokens each inside candy.ai.
Where can I watch My Stepmom Is 22?
Only on Candy AI: on candyshorts.com or in the Candy Shorts tab of candy.ai, in any browser. Uploads elsewhere are trailers or unauthorised copies.
Does My Stepmom Is 22 have subtitles?
The audio is English only; subtitles are available in English, French, German, Spanish, Italian and Portuguese.
Is My Stepmom Is 22 connected to Whatever Your Stepmom Says?
No connection between the two is indicated. Both open with a father leaving home and a stepmother aged 22 taking charge of the house, but they have different leads: Skye here, and Ava in Whatever Your Stepmom Says.
Who is Skye in My Stepmom Is 22?
Skye, aged 22, is the woman Kyle's father marries shortly before spending the summer away, which makes her Kyle's stepmother. She sets the house rules that drive the setup, and the arrival of her best friend, at her invitation, is the premise's turning point.
